ESPN’s Bill Barnwell also identified a veteran player Dallas could target on the offensive line.

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Stephon Gilmore closes in on a pass to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown during the second half at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, December 10, 2023.Barnwell argues that Gilmore would work well in the Baltimore Ravens’ defensive system, giving them a consistent option at corner after deploying players like Ronald Darby, Arthur Maulet and Rock Ya-Sin last season.

Gilmore originally joined the Cowboys through a 2023 offseason trade with the Colts. He was a key piece of Dallas’ defense, posting 68 tackles, 13 pass deflections, two interceptions and one forced fumble.According to Barnwell, Gallup would be a good option for the Los Angeles Chargers as he would give them experience behind names like Quentin Johnston, Josh Palmer and Derius Davis.

Cowboys departures weren’t the only topics discussed by Barnwell. He also found a way to address Dallas’ need on the offensive line, pointing out offensive guard Laken Tomlinson as a viable piece.“With Tyron Smith leaving Dallas for Tomlinson’s old team to take over as Aaron Rodgers’s left tackle, the Cowboys have a hole on their offensive line,” Barnwell said.
