The 37-year-old, who assumed office on Monday following the impeachment of former Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu, expressed his willingness to serve as a supportive deputy to Governor Obaseki.In his pledge, Omobayo affirmed that he is prepared to act in accordance with the governor’s wishes and described himself as a “spare tyre” to his boss.He emphasized his readiness to prioritize Governor Obaseki’s agenda and assured his loyalty to the governor’s leadership.
Additionally, he is a member of esteemed professional bodies such as the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria.
