A woman in New Zealand sued her boyfriend – and now ex – for failing to take her to the airport, which subsequently resulted in missing her flight and a concert, but had her case thrown out.
The man was supposed to pick her up between 10am and 10.15am on the day of her flight but failed to show up. Ms Cowie said: “Partners, friends and colleagues make social arrangements, but it is unlikely they can be legally enforced unless the parties perform some act that demonstrates an intention that they will be bound by their promises.”
