Metservice has issued an updated Heavy Rain Warning for Auckland and Great Barrier Island for 12 hours from Jan. 31 at 6pm . Fire and Emergency Service received 30 call outs in the previous 12 hours, including responding to a landslide when a carport slid down a hill. The council so far have deemed 40 houses unlivable and have prevented people from entering them and put yellow stickers – meaning people can only enter certain areas and for short periods – a further 151 properties.
