Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ) has announced NZ$162.8 million ($93.69 million) in government funding for Olympic and Paralympic sports leading up to the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles. This investment follows New Zealand's record-breaking performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Funding will be allocated based on the potential for medal success in Los Angeles, with some sports receiving increased support, others reduced, and some receiving no funding at all.
