"If you would have asked me on Saturday, did we have a need for a curfew, I would have said we didn't see any looting on Saturday…only Sunday night, it started to turn," he told CNN's Chris Cuomo. The citywide curfew will now remain in place for the remainder of the week, extending from 8 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. the next morning.
