The annual fashion event kicks off on Tuesday—with a twist.

There are a few major players who won't be showing at all during NYFW. Designers such as Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Jeremy Scott, Phillip Lim and Tanya Taylor will skip the event this year. And there are no plans for Rihanna to walk her Savage x Fenty collection down the runway, despite producing one of the most talked-about shows at Barclays Center in Brooklyn in September 2019.

The event isn't typically open to the general public. However, those who do want in on the action can pay for one of the many available NYFW Experiences. Fashion lovers can catch shows like Christian Siriano and Badgley Mischka from the skybox by paying for one of the available Designer Experiences or get VIP service and row seat access to a variety of shows through Day Package Experiences.
