While parts of New York state last week entered the 'first phase' in a process of slowly reopening, New York City likely won't see that phase until June, Mayor de Blasio says.

Aside from new sanitation practices, stores such as Gap are temporarily closing restrooms and quarantining returns for 24 hours before putting them back on the sales floor​.
