UK First Edition of crossover is limited to 50 units and adds 20-in wheels, home charging point and free servicing
The 50 cars are based on the already-high-spec GT versiontop up the list of standard equipment with 20-in “Monolithe” diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 7.4 kWh on-board charger for the plug-in hybrid drivetrain and a Driver & Passenger Seat Pack. That last one might make you imagine non-First Edition buyers must be driving around on beer crates, but actually means this version comes with Alcantara, seat heating, electric adjustment and a five-program massage function.
Other benefits of grabbing one of the first 50 crossovers include a complimentary Pod Point charging box for your home, £500 of public charging credits through Octopus Energy’s Electroverse network, and a service package covering four years and 40,000 miles of driving. Every First Edition 408 is painted in Obsession Blue metallic paint, but much of the specification is unchanged from the GT’s, including Peugeot’s now familiar i-Cockpit dashboard and small steering wheel, and a 222 hp hybrid powertrain that consists of a 1.6-liter petrol engine and electric motor, both driving the front wheels.
