On September 19 the Mobile City Council approved the purchase of 49 Ford F150 Responder trucks for a price of $1.9 million.
That cost has increased by nearly $400,000 according to a new resolution that will go before the city council on Tuesday. According to the resolution, the per truck cost is increasing $8,118 and the city is adding lights and running boards.experiencing delays of 18 months for Chevrolet Tahoe Police vehicles and were looking into the possibility of purchasing the Ford equivalent.
