Dashcam footage shows Officer Mario Herrera save the life of baby Elikai.
On 2/20/20 at 11:31 AM ESTA police officer has been praised for his actions that helped save the life of an 11-month-old boy who was choking.
The parents are seen frantically exiting their car, with the father of the 11-month-old holding the boy in his arms. "The quick actions of officer Herrera saved baby Elikai's life. Thank you Officer Herrera for your commitment to keeping the citizens of New Mexico safe," the department said.
