New infections fall back to double digits with 55 cases

AFTER two days of triple-digit growth in infections, the number of new Covid-19 cases dropped to 55 in the last 24 hours, said Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. Seven of the new infections were imported, while the remaining 48 were local transmissions, bringing the total number of cases to 6,353.
