New Huntington Reservation playground getting into the swing of things

The Cleveland Metroparks' Huntington Reservation in Bay Village is touting the nearly one-acre playground addition for kids and families.

Updated: Oct. 30, 2023, 5:07 p.m.The reality of the Huntington Reservation play space in Bay Village has come to life from these early plans.BAY VILLAGE, Ohio -- Now that the kids are all sugared up from trick-or-treating and a long winter is on the horizon, it might be a good idea to go check out the new Karen’s Way Play Space at the Cleveland Metroparks’ Huntington Reservation.

Cleveland Metroparks marked the grand opening of Karen’s Way Play Space Oct. 4. The play space incorporates a design that pays homage to the historic lakefront reservation. “Karen’s Way Play Space is the latest addition to Huntington Reservation and makes this historic lakefront park even more of a destination for families,” said Cleveland Metroparks CEO Brian M. Zimmerman.Additional features were designed to highlight areas of the reservation in recognition of nearby BAYArts. The play space also incorporates extensive sandstone seating, as well as stroller parking.
