New Dumbledore coin first in Harry Potter collection to feature King’s portrait
The Royal Mint has revealed a new coin featuring Professor Albus Dumbledore as part of its Harry Potter collection.
Harry Potter fans and coin collectors can pick up both a coloured and uncovered version of the 50p collectible. A £200 denomination gold coin is also being released, and will cost a whopping £5,215. Some of the coins in the collection are in colour and some have a “latent feature”, which rotates in the light to reveal a lightning bolt and the number “25” to mark the anniversary year.
