"But straight away the thought for me was, 'I have got to walk away'. There was no other thought in my mind."There was no thought. The apology thing never really came into mind at that point. It was just, 'I have to separate myself from the club'."Carey had spent 12 years at North Melbourne prior to his sensational exit, and won two premierships with the club, on top of scores of personal accolades including seven All-Australian jumpers, four as captain.
