The Zamboanga City Health Office has recorded one new case of Covid-19 amid reports of the uptick the disease nationwide. ManilaBulletin
The case is among eight active recorded by the City Health Office. No deaths were reported.
Mayor John Dalipe is set to convene the Local Inter-agency Task Force on Covid-19 to discuss measures against the possible spread of the disease in communities. The National IATF placed 26 areas under Alert Level 2 based on Resolution No. 6-C, Series of 2023. Zamboanga City is still on Alert Level 1. These areas, however, were said to have maintained their Alert Level 2 status since June 2022. Zamboanga City has been on Alert Level 1 since the same period.
A total of 30,226 patients in Zamboanga City, representing 95 percent of the total number of victims, have recovered from Covid-19.
