PUTRAJAYA: The health ministry has detected a new Covid-19 cluster at an old folks home in Kuala Selangor.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said two of the positive cases were detected from screening at the home on May 17. The third positive case was identified when a man was screened for Severe Acute Respiratory IIlness after being admitted to Hospital Tanjung Karang on June 13. Noor Hisham said the 12 staff and 26 current residents of the home have been screened and all were tested negative.
