An updated Apple smart speaker is on the cards and a new report insists it’s on its way, and could have features making it very different from its predecessors.
I mean, I can see the value of merging Apple TV with HomePod as it is a neat way to ensure perfectly integrated Apple TV sound with something you can plug into your TV. But it does limit where you can put it: it needs to sit near your screen.
Well, a new mini is better than nothing, but the main product Gurman is predicting takes some getting used to. There’s more: “In any case, the combination product will probably be at the center of Apple's approach, with HomePod minis surrounding that throughout the home.”
