“Painted in blue, inside out, it seems to host a bit of sky,” modernist Mexican poet Carlos Pellicer once wrote of La Casa Azul, the longtime home ofIt’s where the artist was born, where she grew up, and where she returned as her career as a world-famous artist flourished at the same time as her marriage with Diego Rivera fell apart.
