William McCurdy, chair of Nevada Democratic party, said the state will not be employing the same app or vendor used in Iowa for its own caucuses on February 22 as originally planned. Nevada Democrats have already planned backup measures and are “currently evaluating the best path forward,” McCurdy said.
In Iowa, the caucuses were thrown into chaos after a “coding issue” with the app caused only partial results from each precinct to be reported to the state party.
