The days of password sharing to mooch off a friend’s Netflix account may soon be ending, as the streaming giant reveals details on how its password sharing crackdown will work. 7NEWS
Netflix previously said more than 100 million households password share to use the same account.
It is not yet clear when Australians will be impacted by paid sharing, however, Netflix says it expects to start rolling it out “more broadly” later in quarter one. “As we roll out paid sharing, members in many countries will also have the option to pay extra if they want to share Netflix with people they don’t live with.
