'Netflix’s The Witcher reinvents Geralt of Rivia in major departure from book and game'
THE showrunner for Netflix's The Witcher has revealed there will be a big difference between Geralt of Riveria from the books and games and the one on the TV show.
She said: "One of the things that probably shifted the most once we cast Henry is Geralt speaks a lot less than I initially intended."What I found though is on-screen, especially with Henry portraying him, a lot can be done just in looks and grunts.Credit: Netflix Hissrich also revealed a fan favourite part from the games is coming to the streaming service - a bathtub. The scene from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt became a meme amongst gamers."I won't tell you who's in the bathtub, but there is a bathtub."While the show doesn't have a released date, it's expected to arrive on Netflix in December this year.
