KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 6 — Netflix’s live-action adaptation ofsailed to the top of streaming service's global charts, debuting in the list with 18.5 million “views” and 140 million hours viewed over its first four days of release.
It's 18.5 million views may not be nearly as strong a start as many of Netflix’s more recent series, such asOne PieceThe shift in Netflix’s numbers reporting which changed in June, now ranks its Top 10 list by “views”, a metric determined by number of hours viewed divided by the total runtime of the film or episode, with the goal of not giving too much of an advantage to movies and TV shows with longer runtimes.
It is certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a 84 per cent score by critics and a whopping 96per cent by audiences, and 8.5/10 on IMDB. Netflix meanwhile has released a behind the scenes stunts featurette, while Shueisha is offering all 12 columes encompassing the entire East Blue saga brought to life in the live-action in 21 different languages
