SEREMBAN: Negri Sembilan state assemblymen, who are smokers, are ignoring the smoking ban at the Wisma Negeri premises.

And, according Bernama, they have left behind evidence – discarded cigarette butts on the five-foot ways and stairs.

This was pointed out in the state assembly yesterday by state health, environment, cooperatives and consumerism committee chairman S. Veerapan. He was replying to a question from Yap Yew Weng on the action that could be taken against the offenders.“Do not use your privilege to avoid having action taken against you,” he said.
