The Negeri Sembilan government will provide a special financial aid of RM200 to nearly 50,000 civil servants in the state for Aidilfitri. The aid, allocated with nearly RM10 million, will be distributed before March and involves all civil servants, including federal department staff, teachers, police, firefighters and military personnel. The Menteri Besar also appointed all civil servants as ambassadors to promote Negeri Sembilan in preparation for Visit Negeri Sembilan Year 2026.

“This initiative is hoped to serve as motivation and encouragement for every civil servant to continue providing the best service to the people. Also present were the State Secretary Datuk Zafir Ibrahim, and senior state executive council member Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias. He stressed that the tourism sector is a sustainable and resilient economic source for the state, as it has shown a remarkable increase in tourist arrivals by 30%, reaching 15 million people in 2023, compared to 11.5 million the previous year.
