requires long-term care facilities to post information on their websites about a state organization that advocates for the rights of residents, Long-Term Care Ombudsman’s Office – which is part of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. This new law addresses the issues that arose when long-term care residents were isolated from loved ones for months in the early days of the pandemic.exempts homestead taxes for veterans who are considered totally disabled by the U.S.
