Senior minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob says nearly 9,000 individuals who attended a tabligh gathering in Sri Petaling at the end of February have not been tested for Covid-19 and police will now track them down and compel them to be screened if they refuse to cooperate. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, March 22, 2020.

POLICE have identified close to 9,000 individuals who have yet to get their health screened after attending a tabligh gathering in late February, senior minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said. Ismail Sabri said police will now locate the 8,800 individuals who attended the gathering at the Sri Petaling Mosque and take them to hospital for screening if they refuse to cooperate.
