Nearly 7,000 medical practitioners quit from 2018, says MOH
Deputy Health Minister Lukanisman Awang Sauni says the ministry cannot stop its medical practitioners from seeking other job opportunities, but will help those being bullied or facing pressure at work. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, March 22, 2023.
“MOH is aware their resignations could also be due to the atmosphere or work environment at the ministry. I see this issue as universal, we cannot prevent them from migrating for better income and a more conducive work environment,” he said during the question-and-answer session.
