At 2:55 a.m. on Thursday, a magnitude 4.3 temblor was logged, and subsequently, two 4.2-magnitude quakes. The latest smaller tremor was recorded at 4:57 a.m., Phivolcs said.
State seismologists added that the epicenters of the aftershocks were located in the waters away from the coast of Davao Occidental province.had a depth of 64 kilometers and was located 352 kilometers southeast of Sarangani town. It was measured at Intensity 2 in Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental; Nabunturan, Davao de Oro; Glan and Kiamba towns in Sarangani; Tupi, Santo Niño, Ti’boli, and Koronadal City in South Cotabato; and General Santos City, and Intensity 1 in Kidapawan City, Cotabato; Maitum and Maasim towns in Sarangani; Tantangan, Lake Sebu, Tampakan, Suralla, and Norala in South Cotabato; and Zamboanga City.
