On July 13, SM Entertainment shared photos of Taeil, Kun, and YangYang to announce their return as NCT U with the song “Rain Day” on July 19.
“Rain Day” is a medium tempo R&B song with a refreshing drop and rich vocal harmonies on top of rhythmical bass sounds. The English lyrics express the feelings of wanting to win back a love that has passed while listening to a nostalgic song through a radio on a night with pouring rain. Furthermore, Kun personally participating in producing, writing, composing, and arranging the song. With a combination of Taeil’s and Kun’s sweet vocals and YangYang’s stylish rap, listeners will be able to enjoy the synergy of the three members.
NCT has been showcasing various projects including solo and unit songs through “STATION : NCTLAB.” Previously, NCT’s Mark released his first solo single ““Rain Day” will be released via various streaming sites on July 19 at 6 p.m. KST.
