Sources say that top NBCUniversal executives were stunned by the revelation that the media giant’s CEO was embroiled in a sex scandal.after Hadley Gamble — a journalist at CNBC, one of the news networks owned by NBCUni — accused him of sexual harassment.But sources at the company told Page Six there “hadn’t been a whisper of an affair” involving Shell around the company.
Deadline.com reported that overseas correspondent Hadley Gamble was the staffer who made a sexual harassment claim against Shell.The understanding around HQ is that the relationship between married Shell and Middle East-based Gamble began before he was named as CEO of the company, which oversees Universal Pictures, NBCUniversal News Group and NBCUniversal Television and Streaming , among other media companies.
