Our latest heat wave continues across the entire region thanks to high pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere. Unfortunately, there's no significant break from the heat showing up anytime soon. In fact, it will only get hotter as we head into next week. A Heat Advisory and Air Quality Alert are in effect for Sunday.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors to ensure they stay cool.
