BEIJING: A swimming club in China that only allows educated women under 45 to register as members because they have “a high IQ and personal qualities”, has sparked a heated discussion online.
About 600 people from 108 contingents, including state agencies, private entities, non-governmental organisations, learning institutions and school marching bands, participated in the event.
Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, the state executive council members, representatives and department heads were also present. "Although there are times when we are tested by issues on which we may disagree, let us never allow the harmony of our country to be impacted."Let us not allow technology to shake our unity with conflict and provocation," he added.
