PETALING JAYA: Over 500 participants from micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are expected to attend the first ever National Conference on Government Grants and SME Loans 2023.

Organised by the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry , the event on June 9 will also feature panel discussions on the latest information that the sector needs to rebound and move forward after the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The sectors, especially manufacturing and services, will be able to equip themselves with knowledge on adapting to digitalisation and automation to further drive their businesses,” said KLSICCI president Nivas Ravagan. “MSMEs owners can meet with representatives from the Bank Negara and Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit to advise them on restructuring their business loans due to the impact of Covid-19.

“I urge all MSMEs and start-up company owners to join us at the conference and grab the opportunity to secure business loans that have been offered by the government,” Nivas said.
