Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi reserved special praise for youngster Samkelo Zwane, who bossed the midfield in their win over SuperSport United on the weekend.

“Not only him, but Mduduzi Shabalala, Wandile Duba and Mfundo Vilakazi. We believe that it’s a capital investment for the club to have those players coming from the academy, and we need to show that all those players are going to have a chance if they prove themselves,” said Nabi. The Amakhosi coach added that while there was still a lot of work ahead for the youngsters, there was a lot more to come from them.
Nabi will be hoping for more of the same when his charges face SuperSport United — this time in the league — again this coming weekend.
