There were no immediate reports of injuries; the suspect was taken to a hospital for medical and psychiatric evaluations.
OAKLAND – Traffic on the Bay Bridge was snarled Tuesday afternoon when a naked motorist stopped her car near the toll plaza, got out and fired a pistol at other cars, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Witnesses reported seeing the same motorist stop on the Bay Bridge a short time later, leave her car with a knife and begin yelling at other drivers, Barclay said. She then got back into her car, drove past the toll plaza and got out of her car again.
