Ex-PM files a judicial review application against apex court’s refusal to grant him stay of the trial.
Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak today filed a judicial review application against the Federal Court’s refusal to grant him an order to stay the trial of his corruption cases involving SRC International Sdn Bhd funds.
He said the application was filed at the Federal Court this morning, but no date was set for case management. Earlier, senior prosecutor Gopal Sri Ram informed the court that the prosecution had received the reply from Chief Judge of Malaya Zaharah Ibrahim for their application letter dated March 29 to have priority given to the SRC case rather than to the 1MDB case.
