Menterinya, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail berkata, kadar itu setimpal kerana trend penipuan atas talian semakin meningkat dan keputusan menaikkan kadar ini mampu menimbulkan rasa gerun kepada peniaga yang berhasrat melakukan penipuan.

“Jadi kami berharap, jumlah berkenaan dapat ditingkatkan supaya memberi kegerunan kepada peniaga,” katanya kepada media selepas Perhimpunan Bulanan KPDNHEP dan Pelancaran Buku Panduan Perniagaan e-Dagang, Putrajaya, hari ini. “Kita ada dua sasaran untuk mengurangkan jumlah aduan ini selain menaikkan kadar denda, kita perkenalkan buku Panduan Perniagaan e-Dagang.
