The President of the Malaysian Corruption Watch (MCW), Jais Abdul Karim, stated that the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACS) dashboard should be real-time, objective and independently auditable. He compared it to the Auditor-General's (AG) dashboard, which provides transparency reports on the performance of ministries and agencies, ensuring accountability for the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy. Jais emphasized the need for detailed data, encompassing metrics on the implementation of anti-corruption policies, intervention success, and challenges faced. He also stressed the importance of periodic and independent audits by third parties to ensure unbiased information and actionable insights. Moreover, follow-up actions and improvements based on the dashboard's monitoring results are crucial.
