By Ozioruva AliuTHE National Business and Technical Examinations Board on Thursday released the In-School National Business Certificate and National Technical Certificate results of the June/July 2024 examination where it disclosed that 44,000 of the 67,751candidates scored five credits and above, including Mathematics and English Language.

He added that a total of 62.235 candidates representing 92.42 of the candidates who sat for the same examinations also obtained five credits and above with or without English Language and Mathematics. According to him, “appropriate legislation, capacity building for technical education teachers, adequate funding, equipment, the establishment of more technical colleges would enhance the TEVT and other technical education programmes.

Asanga, who noted that this year’s performance is lower compared to 2023 performance, said 349 candidates were found to be involved in examination malpractice.
