The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now considers all of New Jersey’s 21 counties to have 'low' community levels of the coronavirus
The state’s health department has stopped reporting the rate of transmission. The required data to calculate the transmission rate is “unavailable at this time,” according to the COVID-19 dashboard. The health department said it is investigating alternative data sources and will update the rate of transmission value when possible.The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now considers all of New Jersey’s 21 counties to have.
The statewide positivity rate for tests conducted April 1, the most recent day for which data is available, was 3.5%.New Jersey has reported more than 2.5 million total confirmed COVID-19 cases since it announced its first known case of the virus on March 4, 2020.
