The victim was identified as Alvin Redd, 25, of Lindenwold, authorities said.
A Lindenwold man died Friday night following a shooting in the borough, authorities announced Saturday.
The shooting, which also sent another man to the hospital, took place at about 8:09 p.m. Friday at the 400 block of West Park Avenue in Lindenwold, said Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Lindenwold Police Chief Michael P. McCarthy, Jr. in a statement. Lindenwold police officers responded to the area after “multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots,” officials said. There, officers found Alvin Redd, 25, lying in the street after sustaining a gunshot wound, according to police.The second victim in the shooting, a 29-year-old Camden man — who was not identified further — was also wounded in the shooting, police said in the statement. He was also sent to the Stratford hospital.
