Local online used car buying and selling platform MyTukar has announced that it's now officially rebranded as Carro, which is the same name as its Singapore-based parent company. The move aims to globalise the former's home-grown online marketplace by leveraging on the latter's reputation, brand recognition, and technological advancements.
The rebranding exercise will see Carro being incorporated across myTukar's range of products and services, marketing materials and physical signages across Malaysia over several months. On that note, accessing the platform's original URL will now redirect users to its parent's company's website. Since its founding in 2017, MyTukar today operates 27 inspection centres, five workshops, two repair centres, and 11 retail centres in the country.

Additionally, any issued vouchers, discounts and offers, as well as quotations will remain valid as per its terms and conditions. However, despite now sharing the same online platform, Carro notes that any purchases, services and warranties bought in Malaysia or Singapore will only apply in the country where the transaction was made.
