The chairman of the Kayah State National Democratic Force party has been found dead at his home compound in Mingalar ward.
According to a witness, the men came to his compound saying they wanted to repair a television as Han Tha worked as an electronic repairman.
He represented the NDF party in the 2020 General Election and contested as a candidate for the State parliament, Loikaw Township constituency. “Formerly he worked as an election commission member of the National League for Democracy . Later, I heard that he was removed from his party. I didn’t know the reason why.“He was over 70 years of age and was a very hard working man," said a Mingalar ward resident of Han Tha.
