My50 users for RapidKL’s LRT and MRT can soon reload their pass digitally, and not solely rely on cash.
Starting May 2025, My50 Travel Pass users can renew their monthly pass via the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app with just a few clicks on mobile phones, saving users the trip and waiting time to reload their passes at the counters. Of course, the counters will still be opened to serve those who opt to reload the My50 Travel Pass manually.
According to BFM News, Prasarana also said My50 users will no longer need to rely on MyKad alone for the monthly travel pass. Users can now use any NFC card linked to their eWallet for the pass. This alternative was previously announced by the Minister of Transport, Anthony Loke. At the time of writing , Rapid KL is currently performing a system upgrade to the My50 pass, which will last until 31 January 2025.What do you think of this upgrade?Source: Tunneltime Source: Tunneltime
