Bobrisky, has allegedly claimed he paid N5 million to a SAN to secure a pardon over money laundering charges filed against him by the EFCC.

Controversial cross-dresser Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has allegedly claimed he paid N5 million upfront to a Senior Advocate of Nigeria in an attempt to secure a Federal Government pardon over money laundering charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission .

The revelation was made in a video shared by popular social media influencer, Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan , on Monday, October 7, 2024.In the voice note, Bobrisky shared that his godfather had stepped in to assist by paying the initial N5 million. Bobrisky also cleared up speculation surrounding his incarceration, confirming that he was not in prison as many had believed.
