The Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) received an unsolicited proposal for the development of a potential new water source for Luzon and Metro Manila.
“Nag-submit po ang isang private proponent ng unsolicited proposal to develop more water sources for MWSS para ma-extend natin ang water supply natin hanggang 2050,” MWSS Deputy Administrator Jose Dorado Jr. said during the Saturday News Forum in Quezon City.
The MWSS official said the proposal is now under review by the National Economic and Development Authority .
