According to the company, this device is leveraging key technologies such as RF signal harvesting, backscattering, and low-power computing. This one is harvesting radio waves from the surrounding area to power its own functionality. Basically, it can communicate battery-free. The OPPO Zero-Power Tag has capabilities in item identification and positioning, and data collection from temperature sensors. Both are powered by RF energy.There is no info on how much this tech will cost and when will it be available for the public.What do you guys think?
