It was reported that when Xiang was 15, his neighbour killed his father and was later incarcerated for 20 years. While celebrating one’s release from prison was not a crime, the proximity of the event appeared to provoke the victim’s family, said Yang Wei, a lawyer from the Henan Zhenyu Law Firm.On the decades-long feud between the two families, Yang said the former convict had already suffered the consequences of his action in the eyes of the law by completing his 20-year jail sentence.
And as he waited for the cleaning and spinning to be completed, he watched TV dramas in his hotel room to kill time.
