BREAKING UPDATE: Seattle police say there was no interaction between the woman and the suspect prior to him approaching the car and firing his gun into the driver’s side window.

According to a police report released Wednesday, the suspect is seen on video shooting into the vehicle of 34-year-old Eina Kwon at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Lenora Street in the Belltown neighborhood around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday. The police report says witnesses directed arriving officers to the suspect who remained in the area. When officers took the suspect into custody, he was reportedly yelling "I did it, I did it," according to the report.
Kwon owned the Aburiya Bento House restaurant in Belltown. Their friends believe the couple was on their way to work when they were shot.
